Freashmen Year

This year went by really fast maybe to fast. Made new friends that's always a postive. The calsses were alright, teachers were good or should i say some of them. My two favorite classes were art and foods. My two least favorite were history and math they were really boring. I finally saw my first food fight it was awesome. Advisory was pretty boring to thou we did get treats every time we went. So yeah i guess this year was a good year and went by fast

Power

How do you gain or lose power. It might be good power like the president has or it can be bad like terrorist example Osama Bin Landin. People might lose power by being a bad leader and people might not want them in power any more. Or in the case of the president you are in power for four years then they can run again but you lose power. Or if you go to war in some cases you might power to because they might be killing at lot of your soldiers or losing territory. Also you can gain power

Why do people join gangs

You might think that the reason people join gangs is for respect or for money. You might disargee with me me or you you might

Other reasons that people join gangs is that your friends might be pessuring u to join the gang. Like if your friends tell u that there not gunna be your friends if you don't join. But in other causes they might want money. They might see the gang as an easy way to get money and start doing that more and more

The main reason people join gangs is because they think there gunna be cool if they join or just give them respect. The first reason is that for some resaon they think its cool. They are jusr hurting there family and people that care for them. An example is if a young kid sees one of there family do it they think its alright if they do it. Also is its because they like to feel like they have power. They think there nobody and decide to join a gang.

So in other words people join gangs for money beacuse they want it or need it. The other reason is for respect to make them feel god about them selves. Also they might just want to get known. These are just some reasons I just gave the one that i felt were important.

The Greeks and the Persians

Who are the Greeks also known as the Hellenes. The Greeks speak an Indo-European language. Is an ethnic group native to the Greeks. They have been centred around the Aegean sea. The Mycenaean people are the first Greek speaking people. The Classical period was from the fifth century BC to the death of Alexander The Great. It was named like this because it set the standers for the Greek civilization to be judged. The Hellenistic period was placed after Alexanders death. Hellenistic is the combination of none-Greek cultures with the Greek, This lead to bigger cities. The most important city-state in Greece would be Sparta. This is where the Spratens come from and the movie 300 is based on a war with persian empire and Spartabut there were more then 300 there were about 300 spartens but 700 were Thespian and 400 were Thebans. The Spartans had a military stradagey which they would form there shelids togather so nothing could pass through as long as they maintaine there postion is called Plahanx.
Persians you might know who they are you might not but am going to talk a bit about them. They are thought to believe to come from the Aryan Tribes migrating from central Asia. During there ruling they had a big empire as u can see from the picture at the bottom

There are many people that follow Buddhism. Maybe you're asking your self what's buddhism. Buddhism is the believe in peace and harmony.( Above this means buddhism)

Its the forth most practiced.About 360 million people follow this religion. It's mostly practiced in China, Japan, Korea, South East Asia. ( above this is buddha he is not fat at all as u can see)

Founder

The person that found Buddhism is called Siddharta Gautama. He was a prince from his town. The story goes that he went outside of his place. What he saw was people dieing, hunger, the point is that he saw people suffering. As he saw this it made he change the way he lived. At age 23 he left his family and he went his way to peace. 400 bc is when buddha died

Buddhist Celebrate Buddhist New year. This is usaully celebrated in different days through out the world. Its starts the first full moon on January. Also Buddhas Birthday

Rituals/Customs

Buddhist usually have temples where they can prey and do what they want. They do meditation halls cause they like to be clam and relaxed. They also invented yoga so they can be one with your soul.

Particular Dress/Clothing

They dress very simiple. They wear somewhat like a cloth,usually orange.

Hierarchy/organization

They do have a hierarchy. The leader is Dalai Lama. Thats like the priesadent. Then the panchen. Finally the laypeople. ( To the left is a pic of how they dress)

Why do people have dogs fights

why do people have dog fights. Dog fighting has been recored since back in 1750's bit it really started in the 1860's manly in the Northwest. There's is different types of levels of dog fighting one is street fighting. This came up in alleys. What led to this was when people said my dog can kill yours. This might be associated with gang activity. The payoff is usually money,drugs, or bragging rights.

Animal abuse
